How do you define 'light cleaning'?

Good Life Sorted Helpers can do light cleaning and housework alongside other services. However, our Helpers are not professional cleaners and they do not bring cleaning equipment with them, but instead will need to use yours.

We define light cleaning as any of the following tasks:

• hoovering

• dusting

• tidying & putting things away

• washing up

• taking out rubbish & recycling

• wiping over surfaces in kitchen & bathrooms

• putting bleach down toilets

• wiping out a fridge

• mopping kitchen & bathroom floors

Helpers are not able to do any of the following tasks, which we define as deep cleaning:

• moving furniture

• cleaning any high area that is out of reach

• cleaning skirting boards

• cleaning cupboards – inside or out

• cleaning ovens

• scrubbing floors/tiles or descaling

• cleaning any area that is badly soiled/stained

If you require any of these, we recommend you contact a local cleaning company.
